My story, “Saving Diego,” was published in issue #221. Also of note are “Home Again,” by Paul Berger and “Far and Deep” by Alaya Dawn Johnson, both in the same issue. I also liked “After Everything Woke Up” by Rudy Rucker for its inventiveness and almost all of the artwork by David Gentry and Adam Tredowski. Interzone is by far the best-looking SF print magazine on the market. You can go here to vote.

Yesterday the Million Writers Award list of 2008′s notable stories came out and I was proud to see four Fluidians on the list:

“Snatch Me Another” by Mercurio D. Rivera

“Until Forgiveness Comes” by K. Tempest Bradford

“Nine Sundays in a Row” by Kris Dikeman

“Down the Well” by Alaya Dawn Johnson

The ladies are pleased as punch that we make up half of the stories chosen from Strange Horizons this year. Technically David makes up half the stories from Abyss & Apex, too!

We’ll have to wait until May 15th to see which of us ends up on the list of top 10 stories. Then our friends and fans (hi mom!) can vote on their favorites. Until then, we will all enjoy being awesome and notable.
